chengdu :)

Hi people! I'm back to Singapore since 1 week ago, gonna update a bit in case i forget everything about the trip heh heh, photos below are only from sis and my iphone, slr photos not yet upload! gonna try to add in if i got the time next time heh.

Day 1, 6th August 2012



Arrived at T1 at about 11pm+ on 5/8! was kinda shag that night because i was up early in the morning for work and went to jacq's baby shower in the night! was rushing like mad thanks to sis for helping me to pack my luggage, didn't even had the time to check through my stuff D: had mac at brash bersah w bf sis n jj before heading to airport.

flight was at 2am NOT FUNNY K SO TIRING :( by the time we finished our food on plane i only left like 2hrs to sleep? pouts.

Reached Chengdu at 6am+! immediately started our journey after that damn shag seriously can cried man. first location was at 宽窄街, love everything about here damn retro old school chilling! why Singapore don't have such places. had some xiao chi at here super yummy i guess it's the best food I had at Chengdu........ cos the rest of the days the food were really sucks to the max oh gosh.

next we went to this hua xi gong yuan! tour guide was telling there this sign board which had really funny English translation, it was supposed to be something like don't feed the fishes in the pond, but i think they direct translate it to English and it became "Please do not feed the fishes with your private" HAHA didn't manage to find the signboard but my mummy they all saw it D; stay at here for like less than 30mins because it started to rain heavily.

went to 南桥,  one of the top 10 famous bridge! damn windy to the max! stone around for a while when the tour guide went to get us tickets for 都江堰! most of the times i don't have any idea why we are visiting these places for! though tour guide was telling us the history of here and there but i was too busy taking photos o well but i still do understand the culture and history of places we visiting k am a smart girl smirks.  

super happy that we are finally making our way back to hotel! time was passing really slow that day omg! reached hotel at 3.30pm damn happy! and the hotel room was quite good though ;) rest for awhile and down for dinner at 6pm. not much activity on first night basically was shopping around the hotel area. and oh the sky was still very bright at 8.15pm ;o went massage at 9pm+ DAMN SHIOK and their services was superb! thumb up x 100000 and it was only 78rmb for 100mins! cheap and good hehe.

2nd day, 7th August 2012

wake up super early as we have to make our way up to 九寨沟, stop in between some of the places to allow us to get used to the high altitude! went to this village where those 少族民 stay! super pretty but the weather was really fucking hot! luckily sister bought umbrella on the first day! just wanna stone on the bus for one whole day without getting down!

continued our journey after that and we met with a very bad jam on the mountain road, as you can see there are only two lanes, one for one direction. But the road ahead, on the right lane was being washed away by the water, so we only left w one lane! so imagine, vehicles going up and down are using one lane only! the jam was really bad & the car couldn't move at all. everyone just came down from the bus and stone.

but luckily there's police controlling the traffic and the police decided to let the right lane move first because we are more important as we are heading to the tourist attraction ;D

FUCKING FLUFFY AWWW! 10rmb for one photo still very cheap k. damn cute awww. people at here believe that having a white mao niu able to bring their family luck, as normally mao niu are black in color!  anyway had our last stop at song zhou before going up again,  altitude at here are at 2000m and above and the tour guide wanted us to adjust our body first before gg any further up. love the weather super cooling hehehe.

reached our hotel at about 11pm+? had super late dinner due to all the things happened in the day as we supposed to reach hotel at about 8 or 9pm? anyway super happy there's bathtub at here! time to nua in the bath tub hehe.

3rd day, 8th August 2012

am an excited kid early in the morning! damn looking forward for 九寨沟! 10 mins away from our hotel only! the crowd was seriously oh my god! 40,000+ of tourist at that day! tour guide was teaching us to chiong and squeeze our way especially when we are boarding the bus! oh man it's more on like squashing in between people, i swear my rib cage gonna broke whenever i tried to squeeze up the bus ;( and I'm damn unhappy about the time given to us at each attraction spot, only 45mins to 1 hr? it's not enough because this including the time of walking to the next meeting point and it was very far .... we don't have time to really stand at there and enjoy the scenery! we were like quick quick squeeze in take photo and rushed down to the next spot! DAMN RUSHED EVERYTHING SO FUCKING RUSHED :( super wasted to come here without enjoying.... sigh we are just kids couldn't voice out our unhappiness.

oh well, anyway the scenarios at there was seriously so beautiful, magnificent, amazing, and idk any vocab to describe it alr. you got to see with your own eyes. but don't ever believe in google photos, scam one because they took from helicopter angle while we are seeing at our own eye level angle. thus the feeling was very different from the photos i saw from google............

Day 4, 9th August 2012

Happy 19th month to my boyfriend! poor bf missing me badly hehehehehe and happy national day too! ;D

literally waking up at 5am every morning can kill me oh god. make our way to huang long, 黄龙! can't really rmb where we stop in between, anyway just the usual places when we go in they will like promote this and that the prices was FUCKING EXP! okay that's all. anyway i bought a tian zhu bracelet for myself hehe.

 mao niu.................. cuteness overload k they just flood the whole road and we had to drive at really slow speed.

 xiao xi tian, where all the birds came here to suicide why. saw a lot of birds flying round and round on top of mountain was trying to catch the birds suicide but failed. but i do realized that the birds getting lesser and lesser after seeing them flying for rounds. and oh the road to huang long was very scary! video huang yiting's expression hahah she was like screaming let her know after the driver turned while covering her eyes HAHAAH. the view was really awesome while going up the mountain!

 upon reaching huang long, had our lunch and get prepared for the walk! tour guide was telling us that not many people make it up to the top to see wu cai qi, 五彩池! you got to walk 2hrs+ flight of stairs and it is 7.6km from the entrance! every year, 5 or 6 people died on top -_____- but me and sister make it to the point that we must climb to the top since we went through so much to come here, why give up half way? set off time at 2.30pm but tour guide said no matter where we are, at 4.30pm we must make our way down and meeting time was at 5.30pm.... so angry!

at the start we was making our own sweet time, because we are busily taking photos! view was equally awesome too! and it was not as difficult as what we thought, the flight of stairs wasn't really continuous 2hrs of climbing the stairs, it was just a few steps of stairs, flat floor and yea so on. we started to get panic when we saw we only left with 1 hour and we seem to be so far away from wu cai qi! mummy was with us too hehe so surprised i thought she will be with other aunties giving up half way. wanted to chiong to the top, but i was getting very bad headache due to high altitude, 3100m and above, i was so giddy cant even walk properly :( huang yiting really damn power! she like floating up without having any problems, oh man why i so weak.

anyway we make it up to the top at about 4.45pm! DAMN HAPPY K SENSE OF SATISFACTION AND ACHIEVEMENT! used 15 mins to took photos and we ran all the way down.  so fucking giddy and was on the verge of fainting alr. managed to reach the meeting point at 6pm! thought we are the last one but ha ha ha still got 2 people not yet back.

back on bus and i started to vomit, super giddy after that. but anyway managed to recover after 1 hour+ of sleep in the bus! tour guide was kinda surprised that 4 of us in the tour managed to make it on top and he said we are one of all his tours he took in this 10 years which he won't forget about us. hehe awesome us smirks ;)

anyway, was on our way back to the hotel and about 10pm+ we met with very serious jam! the worst jam i've even met. We damn lucky our bus happened to stop at this shop where they had big spot light and toilet at here! imagine we are further ahead or back we will be stuck in total darkness and no toilet. at first we heard rumor of what caused the jam was the same as what we met on the 2nd day where the right lane was being washed off by water. but this time they were spreading that a lorry dashed into the hole and down into the river and 3 people died -_- was so fucking scared at that moment because i was imagine the river beside us might have dead body float by wtf. after 2 hrs+, our tour guide walked 2km ahead and back to tell us the real situation. actual accident was there's this MVP car wanted to overtake a lorry in front of them, so he drove to the opp lane to overtake. in order to overtake, you got to speed up right, but when he reached the opp lane, he realised there's no road in front......  sibei fucked up feeling. and yes the whole car went down to the river. 2 people were being washed away and 4 people had been rescued. the tour guide managed to take some photos and show us. FUCKING SCARY.....

anyway we managed to start moving after 3hrs+! only get to sleep at 4am+ that night fucking shag 3hrs of sleep only.


Day 5, 10th August 2012

Super looking forward to this day, heading to 达古冰山! tour guide was saying that there will be snow throughout the whole year and i thought i can roll in the snow but..... damn disappointed. oh well.

as usual, tour guide arranged us to alight at different places to rest, drink some tea as we are going even higher altitude! reached the entrance at 12pm+ and had our lunch!

 at the entrance and it was still 3000m high! took a small bus for 45mins straight up to 3600m omg the moment i step down from the bus my head started to pain. some was having breathing difficulties rest at the cable car station, and some went to buy oxygen tank so cute!

in the cable car! OMG SO EXCITED! cable car bring us up 4860m, no funny k, i feel nothing in the cable car but the moment i step up i was like oh man gasping for air, damn giddy i can't even stand nor walk straight. you got to be there to experience this type of shitty feeling. was literally stopping to rest while walking. worst thing they still wanna take group photos, feeling was like hell! tour guide damn poor thing have to use 20+ cameras and he like can't even stand straight LOL. 

vomited four times that day! DAMN SHITTY! after vomiting i can't even enjoy the scenery, and where got snow..... scam one. only some dirty snow and ice here and there and i can't even touch them... huang yiting was damn emo, and she another power one, she just float down the flight of stairs oh gosh how she did that. i used 5mins to walk down the stairs, like some old woman. anyway only 5 or 6 of us managed to go down the stairs to took photos, other all went back in the cable car station. why are we torturing ourselves ;x

 ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD KEKEKEKE

 the view was too pretty to be true! if there's snow awwww i can die without regrets. anyway back on cable car after like 30 mins? we used 3hrs+ to come all the way up, staying for less than 30mins we are back. what is this.... but too bad most of them couldn't take the high altitude alr. and the only way to cure the symptoms is to go back the low altitude area.

with the tour guide! he is the most awesome tour guide I've met so far! so caring, thoughtful, hardworking, informative, entertaining and so on! he can speak very good and fluent English, even better than me! and oh he sang very well too! okay shall stop praising if not bf get jealous kekeke.

 vomited again the cable car! huang yiting was taking all the photos that i vomited -_- look at my little hand kekeke. was damn shitty i swear, tour guide still make us visit so many places before going back to hotel! i was vomiting wherever i go! ok la I'm alright after 2hrs of sleep on bus later on! hehe. visited some places as usual before our dinner. i really got no idea the places we visiting are for what....

couldn't rmb what happened after dinner so yea that's sum up the day 5!


Day 6, 11st August 2012

Gonna said bye to the mountain life! gonna miss it really badly! ): miss the smell the weather and everything. and oh been staying at the earthquake affected area and make me really upset seeing the aftermath, the broken bridge, collapse school, cracked mountain and road, and the whole village covered by the river. was really heart wrenching to see these in real life..
on the way back to Chengdu, visited places like honey factory and so on! why all the things so exp one.... like scam tourist. ;x

 went to huang long xi gu zheng! THE WEATHER FUCKING HOT OMG CAN KILL PEOPLE SERIOUSLY! super hot tempered and i can see people jumping into the water ... so irritating as they were splashing water everywhere. and oh bought tu chang too! hehe.

finally good food at Chengdu! super sick of the food during the stay on mountain, eating the same dishes 3 meals per day oh man. had this um herbal duck soup? super yummy hehehe. tour guide was super sweet to buy a birthday cake for auntie Joyce after dinner! no photo here!

the best hotel stay ever! though there are no bathtub at here! but the bed was fucking comfy and the toilet was so awesome! HAHA! anyway had massage that night! super sucks :( the lady no strength at all why... oh well end of day 6 nothing much that day.



Day 7, 12th August 2012

ANOTHER HAPPY DAY! able to see panda was always my dream, before the two pandas coming to Singapore i gonna see it at Chengdu! hehe! set off super early as tour guide said the panda will go back to their aircon room after 12pm+ as the weather will be too hot for them.

 PANDAAAAAAAA! why they so cute one! few photos only, cos i mostly took with my slr photos! they are so lazy, funny, and they did a lot of weird stuns, like hanging their body on branch and decided to lie at such an awkward position after climbing half way -_- managed to see 8 pandas that day! most of them already went back and yes the weather was fucking hot.

i think we only spent less than 1hour and we are out alr! damn sad k, but no point staying at there since we are unable to see any panda already :( make our way to silk factory, all along i was thinking that i will never buy silk products because most of the times were all scam? BUT OMG WE ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT IN THE END! hopefully the blanket all those are real lah, should be? SGD500 haha oh man i will only use it when i get marry next time ha ha ha. oh well our lunch was fantastic, had local snacks for lunch and the table was flooded with food, we were so busy eating kekeke.

next up was chun xi road, which are similar to our orchard road. all the branded shops at here! me and sis were kinda hot tempered that day due to the fucking hot weather, 40 degrees seriously not fun at all. and we can't even decide what to do during that 3 hours. just walking around aimlessly. bought some stuffs and had their milk tea from kfc! surprisingly they taste great :)

 had ma lai steamboat for dinner! taste really great! the milk soup was awesome! i love spicy but i hate ma la because of the pepper, hate the pepper taste D: next we went to watch the Chinese opera which they are famous for their changing of face! FUCKING AWESOME OMG WAS SUPER ENTERTAINED THROUGHOUT THE PERFORMANCE! why they so awesome one! super happy to see all these in real life for first time hehehe.

back to hotel after that! last night at Chengdu :(



Day 8, 13th August 2012

finally able to wake up at slightly later at 7am! damn sad gonna leave the hotel already ):

had our breakfast and we went to this place where there's doctor who heal patient by "transferring" qi gong! all these are real man! i thought tv show was a scam all along! asked the doctor to look at my situation and it seem to be quite bad? i got some blood cot at my shoulder thus that's explained why i got bad migraine and shoulder ache! he helped me to transfer qi gong LOL and the feeling was damn pain, felt like kena electric shock .............. and i had to buy a med which cost SGD700 wtf? like scam like that and of course i didn't bought it lol.

next was mushroom hotpot FUCKING NICE AND YUMMY AND HEAVENLY AND AWESOME thumbs up! gobble the soup up! super yummy hehehe. after that we visited 锦里古景! the environment was like those tv show in idk which year, damn damn damn damn long time ago of feel! super pretty i like! but as usual weather was so hot that we gave up walking half way!

make our way to airport and reached there at about 5pm+! went to kfc to buy my milk tea again heheh if not i guess i got no chance to drink milk tea from their kfc! waited for time to check in and tadah goodbye to Chengdu! i will miss you and the tour guide too!

that pretty sum up my whole chengdu trip! i still love Singapore the most, toilet at there was so fucking smelly! tour guide was teaching us how to hold our breathe each time we go toilet ha ha! and yes i loving mountain life, everything at there make me miss my grandmother's village ;) especially the smoky smell hehehe. food at there are no no for me! i hate ma lai, hate that pepper taste! but okay la actually the food overall are still pretty okay! overall super happy with the trip, get to see the most awesome scenarios in my whole life, went to the highest altitude of my whole life, and get to see my panda! oh yay hehehe. i gonna conquer more high altitude places in the future ;D
